MUMBAI: Compelled by the huge demand from fans, Sony Music will digitally release the songs of the much awaited Bhaag Milkha Bhaag on 14 June, a week prior to the actual release date. After Rang De Basanti’s spectacular musical success, this is Sony Music’s second project with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra that has proved to be a master stroke.

Fans went gaga when the first song ‘Zinda’ sung by Siddharth Mahadevan was introduced on TV channels and YouTube. The other songs like Mere Yaar, Maston Ka Jhund have also managed to successfully grab attention of the music connoisseurs.

Adding on Sony Music India marketing director Sanujeet Bhujabal said, “ We released Zinda two weeks ago and since then have been getting calls to release the album in its entirety. The video of the song has received humungous likes and comments demanding the immediate release of the entire album. We along with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Productions decided to make the entire album available to fans earlier. We are supremely confident of the music and want fans to have access to it as soon as possible”

The music of the movie is inspired by and portrays the life of India’s most prominent athlete, Milkha Singh. The lead role is being played by the multi-talented actor Farhan Akhtar and his love interest is the gorgeous Sonam Kapoor. The movie has some momentous tracks that reflect the determination, passion and speed of the Flying Sikh.
