94.3 My FM welcomes Queen's Baton to Raipur!!

MUMBAI: The roads where decorated in bright colours of festivity as the residents of the beautiful city of Raipur made way for the Commonwealth Games �Queen's Baton'. It was not another ordinary day for the people of Raipur as their very own number one radio station 94.3 MY FM made the city proud by welcoming the Queen's baton in its own Jiyo Dil Se style!

Masses emerged from their homes to be part of this once in a lifetime moment as 94.3 MY FM gave one lucky listener a chance to hold and run as part of the baton relay along with MY FM RJs. Celebration were galore and feeling of joy filled the air when MY FM draped the city of Raipur in the Jiyo Dil Se hues 

An extension of the Common Wealth Game's tradition, Queen's Baton travels to 36 cities. Raipur being one of them, the resident station of 94.3 MY FM got an opportunity to become partners for promotion for the relay. Taking the charge as the Jiyo Dil Se custodian MY FM Raipur organized a contest for its listeners, by which one lucky winner got the chance to hold the baton in the relay with MY FM RJs, while the activity was covered live on the radio. The relay was conducted in the circuit of over 6 km and witnessed by over 3 lac people. 94.3 MY FM also wished all participating countries for the games in its own style – Khelo Dil Se, Jiyo Dil Se  

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Harrish M Bhatia – CEO, 94.3 MY FM (Dainik Bhaskar Group) says Hosting the Commonwealth Games'10 is definitely a proud moment for the nation. Given the opportunity MY FM wanted to share this once in a lifetime moment with its listeners as well as celebrate the feeling of pride by welcoming the queen's baton to Raipur. Being an Indian this initiative was a distinct experience altogether and we promise that in years to come we will make sure that  our listeners keep living such moments through Jiyo Dil Se!...
