MUMBAI: Guitarmonk Celebrated its 3rd year of Doctor’s Day on 1st July 2012 via saluting doctors musically & gifting them with greeting, bouquets and therapeutic album Music for Health. Guitarmonk announced a "Daily Music Dose" as a music for the doctors, offering them a weekly playlist of anti-stress music. This album is gifted to plethora of doctors across India.

Doctor's Day Movement by Guitarmonk

The 1st year of movement started in the year 2010 and became a historical initiative and milestone in the medical history of India and globe.The event was further congratulated by Health Minister, New Delhi (Mrs. Kiran Walia).

Philosophy & Objective

• The doctor's day movement by guitarmonk is an expression of thankfulness, gratitude on behalf of common man and medical fraternity to their doctors, congratulating and motivating them towards a valuable, honest contribution and sacrifice they do, are doing and will do for the society.

• It has also resulted as a great communication medium by bridging the gap between medical fraternity and general public along with re-establishing respect and honor for the medical professional.
