LG, Verizon roll out LG Chocolate 3 handsets

MUMBAI: Verizon and LG have come up with the LG Chocolate 3, a clamshell music phone.

The new LG Chocolate 3 trades in its slider form factor for a slim flip style featuring control wheel located on the out side for easy access, a FM transmitter to play music through a car stereo, dual speakers and Bluetooth for wireless stereo sound. The handset offers 1GB of internal memory and can be extended up to 8 GB storage with a microSD card.

The new Chocolate is the perfect MP3 player for listening and accessing more than 3 million songs from Verizon Wireless' V CAST Music library. The LG Chocolate 3 has a 2 megapixel camera for capturing pictures and also supports Verizon's EV-DO 3G network for high-speed data. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo support makes this V CAST Music Store handset a strong portable music player, as well. V CAST Video and ESPN MVP are also available, rounding out the incredible abilities of this slim clamshell.

The LG Chocolate 3 is planned to be available from Verizon Wireless in July, though a specific date and pricing information were not announced.
