Intex unveils Intex IN 5030, IN 4420

MUMBAI: Intex has launched two handsets in the Indian market, Intex IN 5030 and Intex IN 4420.

Intex IN 5030 is a triple SIM enabled (GSM + GSM + CDMA) handset. The mobile is specially designed for busy professionals, for juggling between more than two phone numbers. While receiving or making a call on one of the GSM connections, the CDMA connection remains active (and vice versa), hence the user could easily make a shift between the two numbers. The Java enabled handset comes with two batteries (in nos) each providing a long talk time and stand-by of up to four and 120 hrs respectively. The handset is priced at Rs 4700.

Intex IN 4420 is a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) handset. It supports currency checker feature that lets users differentiate between a fake and real Indian Currency note. It also identifies and displays name of the circle/ area while making or receiving a call (the facility is network-specific). The phone also has a Dual LED torch light, Wireless FM radio and an Indian calendar with all the details of festivals. The handset provides 3.5 hrs talk time and 270 hrs of stand-by. The handset is available for Rs 3300.

The handsets offer adittional features like FM radio, audio and video player, pre-set audio equalizers, Bluetooth, PC synchronization/Modem/Webcam/PC Suite, GPRS & WAP, mobile tracker, auto call recorder, currency converter and expandable memory up to 4GB.
