The True School of Music hosted an admission fair in Mumbai on 24th May, 2015

MUMBAI: The True School of Music, India's first comprehensive institute of contemporary music hosted a day long Admission fair in Mumbai on 24th May, 2015. The session welcomed a set of aspiring artists who were eager to further their interests in music and explore a career in it.

Being a first of its kind, the institute has always encouraged music lovers to learn music in a professional way, which further helps in making a career in the industry. Apart from giving an insight on what the school offers and how it works towards nurturing raw skills, the talks by Julia Leggett, CEO, The True School of Music were focused on current industry trends and the need to pursue the passion in a skilful manner and how to become what they call a 'Musicpreneur'.

Apart from The True School of Music CEO Julia Leggett the fair witnessed Agnee Band  vocalist Mohan Kannan, – , who spoke on how it is essential to learn the nuances of music to be an accomplished artist.

Leggett said, “Music being an offbeat career, not many are aware of the opportunities that are available to professionally pursue the art. At the True School of Music we believe there's a need to reach out to those who have an interest in music and the ability to make a substantial career, but do not have enough guidance/perspective as well as training. With this three city admission fair we hope to have helped each participant return home with a greater perspective on how to advance their talent.”
