MUMBAI: Week 8 of Broadcast Research Council (BARC) India, all India (U+R) has proved to be a pleasant one for 9X Jalwa. The music channel has not just climbed up to the fifth position on the BARC charts but it has also shot up in numbers in a big way. The channel has garnered 42525 (‘000s) in comparison to last week’s 35689 (‘000s). This change has pushed Bindass Play in the sixth place with 38249 (‘000s).
The other channels have maintained their positions with Mastiii retaining its number one position with 111869 (‘000s). B4U Music and Sony MIX claim the second and third place with 101428 (‘000s) and 96983 (‘000s) respectively. 9XM maintains the fourth place with 83283 (‘000s).
Among the other channels Zee ETC Bollywood stays at number seven with 27996 (‘000s). Music Xpress maintains the eight positions with 5410 (‘000s).
