MUMBAI: Muzik247, the prominent music label in the Malayalam film industry, has released the first song video from the upcoming Abrid Shine campus movie 'Poomaram'. The song featuring Kalidas Jayaram is composed and sung by Faisal Razi.

Within a day, the video garnered more than five lakh views and 17,000+ likes. It is currently at the seventh position on YouTube India's 'Trending' list.

Written and directed by Abrid Shine, 'Poomaram' is the debut movie of Kalidas Jayaram as the lead actor in Malayalam cinema. Meera Jasmine and Kunchacko Boban are also playing important roles in the film. The cinematography is handled by Gnanam whereas the editing is done by Jith Joshie. Muzik247 is the official music label. Produced by Dr. Paul Varghese and Abrid Shine under the banner of Lime Light Cinemas, 'Poomaram' is scheduled to release in February 2017.
