Zee TV, Universal launch music album to promote new show

MUMBAI: Zee TV is going the musical way, to stay afloat in the intense war for more eyeballs. In a first of its kind attempt, Zee TV is launching a music CD to promote its upcoming show Yahan main Ghar Ghar Kheli.

Zee TV has joined hands with Universal Music to launch the album, which will hit the stands next week. The album which contains five songs is composed by Naveen and Manish Tripathi while the lyrics is penned by Irshad Kamil (lyricist of movies like Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal and Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Khaani), who is the also script writer of the show. The title track is sung by Shreya Ghoshal.

Produced by Rajshri Productions, the daily show will be launched on 17 November at 8.30 pm.

Zee Entertainment and Enterprises Limited (Zeel) COO and Zee TV business head Nitin Vaidya said, While Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli is an extremely heart-touching story, what we really wanted our audience, not to miss are the beautiful songs in the show....
