SQS Project bags title 'Supastar' at Times Music Band Hunt

MUMBAI: After six months of Times Music â€?Supastars' Band Hunt, aimed to revive the fading pop music scenario in India, the Mega Finals were held at Hard Rock Caf?© on 26 August.

After a detailed process, four bands from four different zones in India were selected to perform at the finale. The shortlisted bands were Nasha from the North, Machas With Attitude from the South, Stairs from the East and SQS Project from the West.

It was SQS Project, a favourite among the audience.

The band is entitled to get a fully-produced album, a music video and an opportunity to perform live. Interestingly, the label has also involved a Swedish producer to produce two tracks on the album.

The highlight of the event was a special performance by famous pop artistes Ali Quli and Bombay Rockers who whipped up frenzy in the crowds. Witty Siddharth Kannan compered the event 

Anu Malik, Leslie Lewis, DJ Suketu, DJ Ryan Beck, Shibani Kashyap, Ishq Bector and Raavi More were among other celebrities present at the event.
