Spikes Asia 2012 announces digital & mobile jury

MUMBAI: Spikes Asia, the annual award and festival for creative excellence in advertising and communications, has announced the jury members for its digital and mobile category.

Party Japan founder and creative director Morihiro Harano will preside over the digital and mobile jury which will comprise of JWT India senior VP and head of digital Max Hegerman, Isobar Hong Kong regional practice leader Dwayne Serjeant, Moulin-Orange Taiwan founder and director Laurent Shen, R/GA Singapore creative director Mark Kozlowski, TBWA\SMP Philippines managing partner and chief creative officer Melvin Mangada, McCann Worldgroup China executive creative director Thierry Halbroth, Publicis Mojo Australia digital creative director Tim Buesing and Cheil South Korea creative director Youngmin Cho.

Lions Festivals chairman Terry Savage said, “To ensure that Spikes Asia continues to set the creative benchmark within the region, it’s crucial that the people judging the entries and casting their opinions are respected, passionate and forward-thinking within their fields. In these five juries we have these qualities, which will help the truly great work to get recognised and rise to the top.”

The fest has also announced the jury members for the direct and promo & activation category which will be presided over by Draftfcb Global executive VP global retail and promotions Tina Manikas, media category to be presided over by GroupM Worldwide Global president Dominic Proctor, design category being presided over by JWT China chief creative officer Yang Yeo and the PR category which will be presided over by MSL Group Asia Regional president Glenn Osaki.

The festival awards the best creative work in radio and other categories like film, print, outdoor, digital, integrated, direct, promo & activation, media, print craft, film craft, design, mobile and PR.

The Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity 2012 is scheduled to take place from 16-18 September in Suntec Singapore.
