Radio Mantra celebrates 'Boss' RD Burman's birthday

MUMBAI: Radio Mantra has kicked off celebrations to commemorate the 72nd birth anniversary of the legendary music director, late RD Burman.

On Sunday, the station marked the entire day as 'Salaam-E-Pancham' and played popular hits of the music composer across all its stations.

Today, in all its shows Mantra will play the incredible hits of the composer which have been remixed till date. 'RD hat-trick' featuring three evergreen songs of  the great composer will be played each hour and its daily request show 'Mera Wala Hit' will play maestro's hits. 'Action Replay' will feature 'RD and Asha Bhonsle' in the jodi special and listeners can get to know more about their unforgettable moments. 'Ticket To Bollywood' will bring out the influence of RD Burman's music on the bollywood.
