Music Matters live announces its line-up of bands

MUMBAI: Branded Limited has announced the line-up of international bands performing in Music Matters LIVE with HP starting from 24-28 May 2011 in Singapore. The festival will present stellar bands from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Canada and more (Click here for the line-up).

Along with home-grown talent's like Typewriter, Jack & Rai and 53A other Singaporean artist will also get an opportunity to perform at 'showcase of Singaporean talent' on Thursday, 26th May.

Branded Ltd will donate US$50,000 worth of passes to local musicians to support Singapore musicians, and to meet the global music industry's executives attending Music Matters 2011  Music Matters will enable Singapore musicians to learn from experienced producers and performers, and attend mentoring sessions with artist and repertoire executives to hear creative advice regarding their music career.

HP will be expanding Beats Audio, a technology that delivers studio-quality sound on a computer that is used by the world's artistes like Dr. Dre, Alicia Keys and JJ Lin at Music Matters.

Music Matters will produce a track featuring Asian bands and artists, enabling listeners and viewers to donate directly to a number of Japanese charities. In 2010, Music Matters raised funds for Unicef's Sichuan and Myanmar relief efforts with the sponsor, Gibson Guitars, to fund a music education program for Cambodian River Kids.

Digital Matters, Music Matters 2011 and Music Matters LIVE with HP are supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, Hewlett-Packard and Clarke Quay. The festival has added two events - digital entertainment and Music Matter Live with Hp for the first time in Asia and will be starting from 24-28 May 2011 in Singapore.
