MUMBAI: Mattel Toys is premiering musical movie Barbie as The Island Princess with Barbie starring as Princess Rosella?? who can sing and talk to animals, on Cartoon Network on 14 November 2007.

The new animated musical has 11 chart-topping songs and a music video, which have been specially sung in Hinglish for the Indian audience, sung by Meenal Jain, the Indian Idol2 finalist. Also, for the first time ever, Barbie sings 2 songs in Hinglish from the movie in the Doll range!

Barbie as Island Princess is a story of Barbie living in a world filled with animal friends. Peacock, elephants and monkeys are her closest pals and the audio track has them all. The track has Barbie as Island Princess and her friends singing their favorite song `Here on my Island`, which is sung by Meenal Jain in Hinglish. The song depicts the emotions of these friends, happy, cheerful and joyous in their favorite Island!
