Kaushik Ghosh quits Radio Mirchi

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi national sales head Kaushik Ghosh has put in his papers.

Industry sources say Ghosh is likely to join the Star Network as ad sales head for Star Pravaah and other Star Marathi regional channels.

Ghosh, who joined ENIL in 2000, handled regulatory affairs for the company and also its initial forays overseas. Ghosh has worked in different divisions, including corporate strategy, marketing and business development. In  August 2008, he was promoted to national sales head, after Naveen Chandra quit the organisation.

Which Ghosh refused to confirm the news, Radio Mirchi CEO Prashant Panday confirmed it, saying,"Kaushik has quit. He has spent eight very dedicated and successful years in Mirchi. We wish him very well."

Sources indicate that Ghosh is likely to join the Star Network, and is likely to head sales for Star Pravaah and other Marathi regional channels.

Before coming on board ENIL, Ghosh has worked for Asian Paints and HCl Frontline.
