MUMBAI: Indie music band Indian Ocean and Bangladeshi singer James will collaborate for a musical evening on 27 Feb in Purana Quila, Delhi.

While Indian Ocean is known for its rock fusion music, James is known as the pioneer of psychedelic rock. He is the lead guitarist and vocal of the band ‘Nogor Boul’, and has also released solo albums ‘Toofan’, ‘Kal Jomuna’ and more.

James rose to fame internationally with his Hindi song ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ from the movie ‘Gangster’, which topped the charts. The singer has also crooned for other films like ‘Life in a Metro’ and ‘Woh Lamhe’.

The band and the singer will harness the power of music as part of the India-Bangladesh friendship project – Maitree Bandhan. Apart from Indian Ocean, James will also perform with Javed Ali on 26 Feb in Bandra, Mumbai.
