MUMBAI: Musicians like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber have already completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and have supported the cause by spreading awareness of the ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Now was the turn of the Indian musicians to take up the challenge and nominate three others for the same. Radioandmusic.com gives you a sneak peek for the singers and composers who supported the cause.

Vishal Dadlani: After being nominated by Mandira Bedi and Sophie Choudry, the 'Om Shanti Om' composer completed the challenge by pouring the freezing water on himself and thereby nominated six people including Shekhar Ravjiani. Dadlani also spoke about the dreadful disease and did his bit for the noble cause.

Shantanu Moitra: The '3 Idiots' composer Shantanu Moitra also poured the freezing water over his head and also narrated about the painful disease. He extended this noble cause by nominating three other people. He was nominated by 'Abhi Mujh Mein Kahi' singer Sonu Nigam.

Shreya Ghoshal: The 'Chikni Chameli' singer Shreya Ghoshal who is currently in US for her gigs posted a video of performing the act on her twitter page. In her video she spoke about the disease but also she asked the people to donate money for supporting the cause. She nominated, Salim Merchant, Sulaiman Merchant and Pratichee Mohapatra. She also asked her fans to perform the act the spread awareness.

Sonu Nigam: After being nominated by a couple of people, the 40 year old singer Sonu Nigam spoke about the disease and extended his prayers for the victims of the ALS. He further nominated five others which include his son and wife to spread the words.

Daler Mehndi: The 'Tunak Tunak' singer Daler Mehndi was recently accepted the challenged thrown to him by a little girl. He poured three buckets of water and further nominated Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra for the challenge.

Sunidhi Chauhan: The 'Engine Ki Seeti' singer Sunidhi Chauhan accepted the challenge for supporting the noble cause. She further nominated Sneha Khanwalkar, Meiyang Chang and Sujoy Ghosh for the same.

Jonita Gandhi: Jonita Gandhi also did her bit for the cause by not only pouring two buckets of icy water but also asking the people to donate. She further nominated her few friends and relatives.
