MUMBAI: As Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene is growing gradually in India, a host of international artistes including David Guetta have enthralled aficionados with their concerts. While Guetta will rock the shores of Goa with a concert in December, the city will also play host to the country’s biggest EDM fest ‘Soulscape’ in the same month.

Commencing on 23 December, the two-day event will witness a fusion of genres like electronic, trance, psychedelic trance and dance by the best in the business. The line-up of performers includes Asterix de Jesus, Astral Projection, Fatali, 1200 Mics, Audiogram, Forest Girl and DJ Anita Shanti amongst others.

The fest organized by V7 Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Goa-based Titos Event Management, will be held at Baga beach.

Soulscape Music Festival MD Varki Patni said, “This is for the very first time India will be introduced to unexplored genres from across the world.’Soulscape' emphasizes on peace, love, unity and respect hence this music festival encourages a harmonic convergence of people, energy and music from around the globe. Our vision is to bring the biggest international artists to India and to get our Indian fans to witness live music like never before, not only in the genre of EDM, but across all genres that are mainstream in this country.”

Aiming to expand the international music scene in the country, the organizers are all set to bring popular international acts within the next 12-18 months. Patni added, “Our next tour would be with a massive international band & then a DJ which will be announced shortly.”
