Fever FM restructures core team

MUMBAI: Fever 104 is in the midst of some hierarchical changes. While the station has roped in Pralay Bakshi as Kolkata's new station head, Alok Singh has been switched to Mumbai as the station head. Bakshi was earlier the Programming head of Delhi Fever and Singh was the station head of Kolkata. In further developments, Vinay Manek would shift to Delhi as programming head, who was earlier a part of the central programming team.

Talking about plans for Kolkata station, Bakshi says, "Our Kolkata station is recently launched and we are still working on getting the right people aboard. Unlike other metros, Kolkata is different because there are 10 big players already and it would be challenging to make a mark for any new entrant. Our main focus is to understand the pulse of the audience and tune ourselves accordingly."

"Kolkata would be on RAM radar soon. Hence, we needed to push things a bit faster," he further added.
Commenting on the internal shifts, Fever's Delhi station head Neeraj Chaturvedi states, "It is a part of our internal shifting and we are promoting our programming team for their efforts."

The music proportion of the Kolkata Fever is 80 per cent Bollywood and only 20 per cent comprise Bengali.
