MUMBAI: ASSOCHAM has announced the appointment of Durga Jasraj, Founder, Art and Artistes', as the Chairperson of it's Culture Committee. She will be responsible for setting the agenda of the Committee for the year ahead, as well as creating and enhancing synergies with ASSOCHAM partners, both in India and abroad.

Previously Jasraj was the Co-Chairperson of ASSOCHAM's Music Industry Committee.

She has more than 2 decades of experience in the Indian entertainment and music industry. She founded Art and Artistes' (I) Pvt. Ltd. (A&A) in 1999 to conceptualize, promote and produce music based entertainment solutions across media. A&A has produced more than 40 music albums, 20 TV shows and more than 200 large scale events across 50 cities in India and in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Durga Jasraj has co-founded The Indian Music Academy (IMA), a not-for-profit initiative of Art and Artistes, which promotes all forms of Indian music. Jasraj also holds position of responsibility in the Central Board of Film Certification, where she is a Member of the Board.
