Big FM strengthens senior mngmt with new hires
MUMBAI: Big FM, the FM radio brand of Reliance Broadcast Network (RBNL), today announced the appointment of two new business heads. The radio station has appointed Pankaj Vassal as vice-president (regional business head – west and east) and Neeti Virmani as station head for its Mumbai operations.
Vassal will report to Big FM business head Rabe T Iyer and will be responsible for business growth and overall P&L for the vertical. Virmani will ensure that revenue targets are met and the duo as a team will work closely to usher growth in the Phase III radio revolution.
Speaking about the appointments, Iyer said, “We are happy to have the extremely talented and well endowed duo of Pankaj Vassal and Neeti Virmani come on board. Am confident, their vast and in-depth understanding of the mass markets, coupled with their ability to deliver outstanding solutions to marketers requirements will deliver optimally to the business. I wish them the very best.”
Vassal’s key focus areas will be to grow the radio business, expanding the west and east zones of the network from the revenue point of view. With over 15 years of experience, he has worked at Amway, Motorola, Asian Paints and Essel Packaging.
Virmani will be responsible for managing overall business operations of the Mumbai Station while managing the P&L, by driving functions including sales, programming and marketing. With over 14 years of experience, Virmani has worket at Aircel, Pepsi, Airtel, Aptech and STG Ltd.
