Big FM Chennai launches second phase of 'Tamilian pride'

Mumbai: Big FM has launched its second phase of 'Tamiliam pride' from 25 February in Chennai.

This phase will have the station highlighting the key attributes of a Tamilian, like humour, intelligence and knowledge. Interviews with Tamilian celebrities known for their special attributes would be aired for the whole day. These week day attributes include Star Thamizha, Sagala Kalaa Thamizha, Pudhumaithamizha, Ulagam Sutrum Thamizha and Nagaichuvai Thamizha.

Star Thamizha features famous Tamilians who have featured headline, Sagala Kalaa Thamizha features well informed Tamilian, Pudhumaithamizha features Tamilian known for the innovativeness, Ulagam Sutrum brings forward the achievement of the Tamilians who have made them proud globally and Nagaichuvai Thamizha would feature Tamilian for their humour quotient.

Says Big's Chennai station head P B Ramaswamy, "Tamil is a unifying factor for Chennaites because Chennai is essentially a city of Diaspora of Tamilians from various parts of TamilNadu and the creative expression of the same is Tamizhanin Perumai, which we at BIG 92.7 FM are celebrating through identifying various attributes of Tamilians.

Big plans to celebrate the third phase of Tamilian pride for five weeks, starting mid April, and will focus on the unsung heroes of Tamil Nadu.
