Big FM appoints Soela Joshi as national content planning head

MUMBAI: Big 92.7 FM has appointed Soela Joshi as director national content planning.

In her new role, she will handle the overall content strategy of Big FM and will report directly to national marketing head Anand Chakravarthy, according to an official statement issued by the company.

Prior to this, Joshi was with Grey Worldwide as head of strategic planning in Mumbai. She has previously handled brands like Fair & Lovely, Clinic Plus, Marico, Fortune Oil, Parle G, Frooti, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, Diageo, Anne French and IOC.

Chakravarthy said, "In the media business, where content planning plays a very vital role, we are extremely happy to have Soela with us. Given her track record and experience in strategic planning it is going to work wonderfully for Big FM`s 31 stations network, soon approaching the count of 45.Joshi said, "After working for nine years in advertising I am happy to be working in an organisation which has a good vision on the growth path. What excites me most about this assignment is the top management`s focus on strategy that will be based on strong consumer insights."
