Barista launches music initiative for Friendship Day

MUMBAI: Barista has planned a music initiative, Friendship Jam for the first time on the occasion of Friendship Day.

The initiative will run in three Indian cities, from 30 July till 3 August. Barista marketing head Vishal Kapoor says, "The guitar has always been an integral part of Barista and we conceived that a guitarist and his band can perform live at Barista. We are holding the event in three cities of Mumbai for three Days, Delhi and Bangalore for five Days."
"We have planned the event on the lines of 10 performances in a Day but on the first Day itself, we had 16 teams participating in the event. The winners are selected on a daily basis and are gifted a hamper."

The live performances at Barista will be judged by Mihir Joshi, RJ at AIR FM and also a part of band The Works.

Each group performs at a Barista outlet of their choice in front of the judges as well as the other guests at Barista. The winners get an opportunity to win great prizes to be won from Barista, Adlabs and On Stage. Thyme is the concept partner and RED FM is the radio partner for the event.

As a part of the initiative, Barista has also launched quirky friendship bands as a perfect gift for friends.
