* Part of The Radio One Christmas Santa drive supported by BPCL, Mid-Day, Vijay Sales

MUMBAI: Ajay Devgn and the team of the forthcoming film Toonpur Ka Superhero were at the Radio One Mumbai studio on Wednesday in connection with The 94.3 Radio One Christmas Santa initiative aimed at bringing some happiness to the lives of the less fortunate through a collection drive for underprivileged children.

Ajay Devgn arrived at 94.3 Radio One's studio in the evening along with the Toon cast from the movie �Toonpur Ka Superr Hero'. He made their Christmas special by distributing the gifts that were collected from all the listeners across the city by Radio One, along with the support of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Mid Day and Vijay Sales for children from the NGO, Smile Foundation, which works towards the development of underprivileged kids across India.

Nandita Dalal of Smile Foundation said, It was heart warming to see Ajay Devgn extend his support towards this cause. The Toonpur Ke Superhero sure knows how to bring excitement amongst the kids. It made the kids feel special as Ajay along with the toons distributed gifts to the kids. I am truly grateful to 94.3 Radio One and its listeners for all their support and contributions towards society. Our kids are going to remember this day all their lives!.. 

Krishika Lulla and Kumar Mangat, producers of Toonpur Ka Super Hero, said, We are excited about Toonpur Ka Superhero and are happy to join hands with 94.3 Radio One for this noble cause. It feels great to bring Toonpur Ka Superhero and toons along with lots of gifts for kids this Christmas....

Ratan Panda, Deputy General Manager (Sales), for Bharat Petroleum Co Ltd, too expressed happiness  to be part of the drive. Bharat Petroleum Co Ltd is proud of being associated with a campaign like this,... Panda said, adding, We are glad we could do our bit and contribute towards a better life for these children....

Radio One Mumbai Station Head Kiran D'cruz said, This is simply an effort to spread cheer and happiness. I am thankful to Ajay Devgan and the Toonpur Ka Superr Hero team for extending their support to this noble cause. We are also very grateful to Bharat Petroleum Co Ltd and Mid-Day for their support. We really hope that we could, in a small way, make a difference to the lives of these kids...  

The collection drive began on December 14th and will go on till December 24th with the help of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. People who would want to contribute in terms of unused clothes, books, stationery or toys could visit any of the selected Bharat Petroleum outlets across Mumbai.
