MUMBAI: In a unique way to reach different sections of the society and to create awareness on some of the neglected topics by recalling the traditional practices Trichy Suryan FM 93.5 has started to celebrate every Saturday with funny elements as SHINING SATURDAY. As such every Saturday will be coined as a special day which is not pronounced in calendar  A ground contest on the topic is also planned at the office premises itself.

In tune with that last Saturday was celebrated as Mehandi day and through out the day in every show this content  was integrated in such a way that flavor is spread evenly  Many participated in the contest organized as part of the celebrations and winners were given prizes.
