Suparna's Thumri Ghazal reminds of Begum Akhtar in film Kajraare
MUMBAI: The melody queen of Kolkatta, Suparna Acharya is yet again at her best with a Thumri based ghazal � Ab katla hoke teri mehfil mein aye' in Pooja Bhatt's Kajraare.
Kajraare is a complete package of good music by actor, singer and composer Himmesh Reshammiya.
Bapi –Tutul who have discovered the new talent in Suparna has also done the background score of the film. Tutul feels that such singers have vanished from the industry. Suparna has a perfect voice to do justice to Thumri based numbers and surely reminds of Begum Akhtar.
Suparna who has also sung in Ram Gopal Varma's forthcoming Vivek Oberoi starrer film RaktaCharitra is all excited to get established as a Thumri singer.
