Fever 104 FM's 'Fever Mission Shiksha' culminates successfully

MUMBAI: Fever 104 FM, the most youth centric radio station of the country as a part of their unremitting initiatives has now successfully concluded Fever Mission Shiksha.... The two week long initiative to support and help underprivileged government school kids with notebooks ended as Raveena Tandon handed over, more than 6000 collected notebooks to Yuva Parivartan.

The campaign has received a great response from the Mumbaikars who wanted to extend a helping hand for these kids. The closure of the activity and handing over of the books was done by 'Raveena Tandon' who was present in the Fever studios along with RJ Karan Singh, handed over the notebooks to Mrs. Mrinalini Kher the trustee & secretary of Yuva Parivartan.

The initiative was a collaborative activity with the NGO - Yuva Parivartan.  Fever Mission Shiksha is a unique initiative by Fever 104 FM for the underprivileged children. The concept of doing a notebook drive rather than book donation drive comes from the insight that the underprivileged kids get access to the text books through Government however, notebooks required for practice are not provided. Truly unique in its concept and targeting the root cause, Fever 104 FM's initiative will surely reach out to the core benefactors.

Fever Mission Shiksha started on the 13th June 2011 and was on till 25th June 2011; during the entire campaign period many celebrities and famous personalities endorsed the campaign on-air but appealing to the Mumbaikars through Fever 104 FM or by giving away the notebooks . Personalities like - Amitabh Bachchan, Raghu from MTV roadies and Sughandha, Sachal Tyagi from Zee's Chhoti Si Zindagi, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Kavita Seth, Jacqueline Fernandes,  Emraan Hashmi, Mohit Suri, Imran Khan & Vir Das and Rajiv Khandelwal.

Fever team would like to thank their listeners for extending their support by personally donating notebooks to Fever Studio, pledging through SMS, and dropping the notebooks to the Jumbo King outlets.
