ArtistAloud.com presents their latest music showcase platform LaunchCast

MUMBAI: ArtistAloud.com, India's premiere digital platform that provides music lovers access to unreleased music, which they can sample, buy as well as share with the world recently announced its latest music showcase platform the �LaunchCast'.

LaunchCast is a unique initiative aimed at digitally launching unreleased music by Artists, songs performed LIVE by them and streamed simultaneously for a Global Digital audience. All the music lovers can listen and watch the new releases with live performances from their favorite Artist from anywhere at the click of the mouse. The performance includes only those tracks which will be digitally distributed by ArtistAloud.com. The first LaunchCast featured the Swedish Fusion Band �Mynta'. The second installment of the LaunchCast will feature Sona Mohapatra, an unique artiste with her band taking the digital medium to Gen-X level. The music will be launched with live streaming from Empire Studios, Mumbai on December 13th on www.artistaloud.com. This LaunchCast will be genuinely different as it will have Sona performing live versions of her songs, "Paas Aao Na" & "Diljale" with a glorious grand piano from Furtados , lush violin stings & acoustic & bass guitars. These versions are moving grand ballad versions & radically different from the originals, so don't miss it!

Sona is among the first 2artists from India, along with Kailash Kher to be profiled on the world music series called The Music Voyager... on National Geographic which is slated to be broadcast across 137 countries. She is a voice that bridges the ancient to the modern & loves to mix poetry & lyrics with sounds that blend Folk Roots, Sufiana Kalaam, Bollywood, Gypsy & Eastern Baul with Contemporary Rock, Funk, Blues & World Dance Music  Her previous hit singles include Bolo Na, Ishq Nachaya, Abhi Nahin Ana ,Aja ve & international collaborations with INXS & David Bowie. �DilJale' & �Paas Aao Na', the 2 songs being released on Launch Cast , embody the transition of night into day and are also symbolic of the loneliness and beauty of the cities we live in �DilJale' represents the night in a very evocative way. It's about memories, regret & the bittersweet celebration of a love lost in time. �Paas Aao Na' is the song which represents the day in all its glory. It's full of bright hope, romance & unabashed joy. Both songs & the lead video shot in New York City are self assured; epitomize a �free spirit' and �memories'.
