Nokia unveils Window handsets - Lumia 710, 800

MUMBAI: Nokia has introduced its first Windows handsets 710 and 800 in Lumia range of smartphones.

Lumia 710 and 800 handsets are embedded with Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. Both devices run on  Windows Phone 7.5 mobile operating system called Mango and are integrated with the 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor. It is also enhanced with the pre-installed features such as Mix Radio, Nokia Music and Nokia Drive.

Lumia 800 sports 3.7 inch clear black display with 480x800 pixel resolution, 8MP, HD video recorder, 16 GB of internal memory and supports 512 MB RAM, GSM, bluetooth, WLAN and 3G bands. The handset is priced at $588.

Lumia 710 is powered with 3.7 inch clear black display with 480x800 pixel resolution, 8 GB of internal memory, 5 megapixel camera and HD (720P) video recording. Lumia 710 is priced at $370.

Nokia has also exclusively tied up with ESPN for its service; the sports app would provide users with personalized tiles that would display live streams regarding their favorite sport and players. The handset also includes a mobile version of the Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 browser.
