Nokia rolls out N86 in India

MUMBAI: Nokia has announced the launch of N86 Smartphone in the Indian market.

The handset loaded with 8 megapixel camera is designed to with photography in mind, including 8 GB of internal memory for up to 4,000 images. Like any high-end digital camera, the memory can be increased with an exchangeable 16 GB microSD card.

Shipping with the latest version of Nokia Maps and full Ovi integration, the handset gives a personal dimension to photos and videos. People can share their location with personal content like geotagged photos. The mobile has a 28 mm wide angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and designed to excel in both light and low light conditions.

The handset has a sleek design with iconic 2-way slide with metal detailing. It has OLED display with the scratch-resistant hardened glass front. It also comes with a built-in compass, along with a trial navigation license for driving. Additionally it includes pedestrian navigation so that happy snappers don't lose their way when capturing life through the camera lens.

The multimedia set with a 2.6 inch display also supports integrated FM transmitter and has up to 30 hours of music playback and dedicated music keys for non-stop music. The device also supports full sync capability with a PC and TV-out support for slideshows. In addition to it, it comes with dedicated gaming keys and 17 pre-loaded N-Gage game out of which customers can choose one license game for free.

The handset will be available in India at a price tag of Rs 27,359.
