B4U to air Showbiz India

MUMBAI: Very soon the California based show ‘Showbiz India’ is all set to travel to United States (US), Canada, UK, Europe, Africa and Middle East through the popular music channel B4U. This weekly program covers the latest happenings in Bollywood movies and music. Showbiz India already exists in US for 15 years now.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com, B4U sales and marketing (International) head Kevin Rego says, “We have started the program with an aim to reach the South Asian audiences in United States, Canada, UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa who like following Bollywood and music. Having a background in interviewing the biggies of Hollywood and Bollywood, Reshma Dordi, present the show. The blend of Hollywood and Bollywood will help us tap local audiences.” Showbiz has a long guest list, which includes Bachchans, Khans, and Kapoors. Hollywood biggies like Mike Myers, Justin Timberlake, Chris Rock and Cindy Crawford have also been a part of Showbiz India.

He further adds, “The talk for the show started three-months back which finally ended with an on-going contract.” The show is slated to air on 5 October in US. Speaking about the US market, he says, "West and East Coast is a good market for B4U. The audience cannot have enough of Bollywood and they enjoy shows that cater to this genre of music. Cricket and Bollywood still rules in the South Asian community."

B4U keeping the South Asian audiences in mind has already commenced their promotion across US. “We have planned promotions during Diwali which will attract a huge number of audiences; this will help us tap the target audiences.”

Showbiz India covers updates and Bollywood news to in-depth interviews with the biggest stars. Besides the film world, the program also focuses on fresh and unconventional fashion and lifestyle segments and covers the latest South Asian events in USA. Showbiz India will air weekly on B4U Music Saturdays 11am EST and Sundays 2pm EST.
