Kings of Leon to unveil sixth album 'Mechanical Bull'

Two eminent international musicians admit to having cancer

NEW DELHI: Former Journey singer Steve Perry has revealed he had a cancerous mole removed from his face. The 64-year-old rocker said in a Thursday posting on Fanasylum.com that he learned he had skin cancer last month. “Three weeks ago a routine mole was taken off my face and the lab report came back melanoma skin cancer,” he wrote. “I have had two surgeries in two weeks to remove all the cancer cells and I’ve been told they think they got it all and no other treatments are required.”
