AIR to revamp FM channels across metros

MUMBAI: In a bid to keep up with the competition by private FM broadcasters, All India Radio working under the aegis of Prasar Bharti has decided to revamp its FM channels – Rainbow and Gold, across the four metros. Taking a conscious effort to break away from the mould of serious radio, AIR will change its format and repackage shows after 32 years. It plans to focus more on intimate, friendly and interactive programming initiatives. The revamped stations will launch on 12 November.

Carlos Santana to headline F1 Rocks

MUMBAI: After announcing his debut live performance in Bangalore, Latin guitar legend Carlos Santana will headline the International Act at F1 Rocks in Noida. His performance will encompass and showcase the ‘Greatest Hits’ tour for India, and complemented with spectacular production. Shillong-based rock band Soulmate will open the show for legendary guitarist. The concert has been organised by DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt Ltd and F1 Rocks.

Raghu Dixit to perform live concert in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Renowned indie-folk singer Raghu Dixit is all set to perform a live concert at the second edition of Canvas Live on 18 October at 9pm in Palladium Mall, Lower Parel. Canvas Live will include live performance of bands from various genres in association with international music labels, renowned entertainment agencies and artiste managers. The venue usually known for the in-house DJ format will be transformed into a live music venue for the event.

Yo Yo Honey Singh rocks Red Live's first concert

MUMBAI: India’s largest radio network, Red FM 93.5, launched its intellectual property – ‘Red Live’ with a massive event. The first ever Red Live concert was held last night at the HUDA Gymkhana Club Lawns in Gurgaon. Punjabi Rap & Bhangra sensation, Yo Yo Honey Singh performed live for more than 5000 people.
