Sony Music acquires audio rights of 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola'

MUMBAI: Adding to its increasing repertoire of bollywood films this season, Sony Music Entertainment has acquired the audio rights of Vishal Bharadwaj’s upcoming film ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’. The comedy drama film features Bharadwaj essaying multiple roles of writer, director and music composer, while the lyrics have been penned by the renowned Gulzar.

Eddie Van Halen voted greatest guitarist of all time

MUMBAI: Eddie Van Halen has been named as the greatest guitarist of all time by renowned magazine Guitar World. In a competition that was decided by readers, guitarists were put up against each other in round-robin style match-ups. Van Halen came ahead of Queen guitarist Brian May in the ’100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time’ competition, which was decided by a knock-out tournament in which musicians were pitted against each other in a round-by-round basis.

Rolling Stones announce four live show dates
