Live - Off Beat Vibes at @ Live. The Off Beat Vibes started out as a project experimenting with different sounds and as the band members claim the blues offered them a common ground for them to start off .

Jazz and blues guitarist Pranai aka PD grew up in the sleepy hills of Darjeeling. Inducted into music by his father started playing at the age of 16 , he has collaborated with bands like Silk Route, played at The Jazz Festival , Kathmandu , and at the Miss Nepal fest besides collaborating with five other bands and featuring in an album Trips to Kathmandu with the jazz band J Hola .

Drummer Chewang also from Darjeeling apart from collaborating with big bands like Chakra and also featuring in their album Wheel of life ( 2002) , has played at IIT Fests has also collaborated with a number of other bands as well . Essentially a jazz , funk , blues and fusion drummer , Chewang , now is also a faculty at the Delhi School of Music. .

Enter Delhi boy Abhishek who has been playing the bass guitar since high school , trained under leading bass players of the country ( Brenon Denfer , Inderneel Hariharan and Chris Tarry ) , and has played all over the country and recently played at the Sun Dance Festival , Nepal . Besides playing and recording with bands like Parikama , Advaita , Sajid Akbar , Maestro Kamal Sabri Khan to name a few , Abhishek , teaches Western Music Theory and Bass at Performers Collective and Gurgaon School of Music .

Self- taught and self -made vocalist and rhythm guitarist Teesta Galway, frontwoman of the band claims to have a thousand gurus ! Her vocal style has greatly been influenced by the likes of Janis Joplin and Tina Turner . Hailing from Shillong , where music is a part of every man's life , she can't remember at which age she started singing . Essentially a blue-grass artist , Teesta loves to hit the stage alone with her guitar . Has performed in Music Festivals in Shillong and has played live with artists like Lew Hilt , Lou Majaw , Shyam and the West Wind ( Bangalore ) to name a few .

And together they are the Off - Beat Vibes.
