Republic Rock !! The very word generates excitement among youth across the country. Drawing more than 5000 people in the 18-35 age group,Republic Rock raises the bar for those upcoming nascent rockers. This annual event of the mumbai festival previously known as " battle of the bands" is held on a vast and serene venue - Bandra Bandstand Am phi Theatre is forgotten by none who attend it, whether they participate or come to witness the spectacle. Republic Rock is conducted during the final week of January, and made possible every year by the determined efforts of all us mumbaikars

With an expected footfall of 5000, this 3 day festival is the traditional meeting place for the young and those young at heart. Republic Rock is characterised with the evenings jam-packed with the most upcomming talented local bands , which present one with an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of vast crowds. Republic Rock 2008 promises to be bigger and better than ever before this time around. With new bands including various Freestyle artist.
