MUMBAI: Worldwide superstar Rihanna's latest single â€?We Found Love' has topped the   Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the eighth consecutive week. The track is the longest running number one single in Rihanna's career.

'We Found Love' overtook Adele's �Rolling in the Deep' which stayed on top for seven week earlier this year. The Island Def Jam's reigning queen has also broken her previous record of top selling singles.

Second to Beatles, Rihanna has become the fastest solo artist in 'Billboard Hot 100 history to chart 20 Top 10 hits'.

LMFAO's  â€?Sexy and I Know It,' notched second position on the singles chart, while Bruno Mars' 'It Will Rain' held steady at third position, Florida's â€?Good Feeling' climbed upto number four and Katy Perry's â€?One That Got Away' rounded out the top five.

�We Found Love' is the lead single from Rihanna's sixth studio album 'Talk That Talk'.
