Radio One's live concert with Wadali Brothers

MUMBAI: On the auspicious occasion of EID, Radio One under its initiative One Delhi One Music' has organized a live concert Sartaj-e- Sufi' with the Wadali Brothers on Wednesday, 31 August at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi.

Commenting on this occasion 94.3 Radio One station director – Delhi Rajesh Ranjan said, One Delhi One Music is a fabulous platform to showcase the sheer diversity of music we have in the country. We're also fortunate enough to have audiences in Delhi that are open to these diverse genres of music. After the plaudits that we earned for The Mohit Chauhan, Gurdass Mann as well as the Kunal Ganjawala concerts, we thought we would have a more classical concert. Listeners can tune into 94.3 Radio One to win passes for the concert....

Wadali Brothers are sufi singers and musicians who stepped into the world of Bollywood music, by rendering for music director and writer Gulzar's soulful lyrics in the film Pinjar'. Their latest track was Rangrez mere' from Tanu weds Manu', and a song in the movie Dhoop'. Discovery Channel is planning to make a documentary on them.

Wadali Brothers said, We thank Radio One for its efforts to promote various genres of music. On the auspicious occasion of Eid, we hope to build a divine connect with the audience. We hope One Delhi goes from strength to strength in the coming months....
