One Direction announces new single 'Best Song Ever'
MUMBAI: British boy band One Direction’s eagerly awaited new single ‘Best Song Ever’ is slated for digital release on 22 July.
Fans were treated to a snippet of the single at the release of the new trailer of the band’s upcoming 3D documentary ‘This Is Us’ on 25 June.
The single is the first track from their long awaited third album due out later this year. Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have delivered yet another memorable modern-pop classic.
The film will be released on 30 August with the band making a special appearance on NBC's the Today Show Summer Concert series on 23 August in support of the film.
One Direction are currently on a worldwide tour in support of their second album ‘Take Me Home’. They have just announced the first two legs of a worldwide stadium tour for 2014 – including eight sold out dates in the UK and Ireland, report said.
The band will also open Teen Choice 2013 award with a televised performance of the song. The awards will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on 11 August.
