MySpace India appoints Sandeep Suvarna as sr marketing manager

MUMBAI: MySpace India announced the appointment of Sandeep Suvarna as Senior Marketing Manager for India operations, on Friday.

Suvarna comes in place of Tarun Tripathi, who quit as marketing and content director earlier this month. MySpace India country head had said at the time that Tripathi's position would be changed to ' a slightly different role'.

Suvarna would now be responsible for driving the marketing strategy, public relations and distribution of Myspace products for users in India, and will directly report to Krishnan.

Sandeep has several years of experience working for leading companies in their respective domains, most recent being Yahoo! India and prior to that Tribal DDB India, one of the world's largest online advertising agency. His experience has been primarily in Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Online Marketing, Market Research and Media Planning.

During his last assignment as a Marketing Manager at Yahoo! India where he worked for three years, he has contributed successfully in building brands for the portfolio of Yahoo! products on PC and Mobile across cross sections of users.

Sandeep has a Masters degree in Marketing having completed a Bachelors degree in Engineering with specialization in Information Technology from Mumbai University.
