Mumbai: Gangotri (the sequel to Ganga) has been made in both Bhojpuri as well as Hindi. Presented by businessman Pittie, the film is launched by Deepak Sawant, Amitabh Bachchans make-up artist.

This is probably the first time that the music of the film was released after the release of the film. Due to unavailability in getting theatres due to the release of the two giants, OSO and Saawariya, Gangotri had to postpone its release date to 16 November.

The music release at The Club had all the four Bachchans in attendance along with the leading lady, Bhoomika Chawla. Apart from Bachchan and Hema Malini, the film stars Bhoomika Chawla, Manoj Tiwari, Aroona Irani, Kunal Singh.
