Big FM Surat introduces new shows for Janmashtami

MUMBAI: Big 92.7FM Surat is celebrating Janmashtami with a new programming line up on 4 and 5 September.

Beginning with Krishna Bhajans from 9 am onwards, the station will be hosting live updates of the biggest Matki Fod event to be held in the afternoon in Surat.

It will also air live the midnight celebrations among Krishna devotees at Iskcon temple.

On 5 September, RJs will entertain listeners with innovative content across shows throughout the day. The new shows include 36 Ka Ankada, Misri Jaisa Meetha Bol, Maska Maro and special Janmasthami quiz.

On the occasion, the station will also introduce a character disguised as Krishna called Kanhaiyya. Kanhaiyya who will appear every hour during all the shows throughout the day and take the listener through the life history of Lord Krishna besides conducting Janmashtami SMS contests.

The station will also celebrate `Teacher`s day` by providing interesting insights on Lord Krishna as the greatest teacher ever.Big FM Surat station head Hitesh Budhbhatti said, "It is our constant endeavor to ensure local connect through our programming mix by way of not only entertaining listeners but also impacting their lives positively.
