Big FM starts 2nd season of Bendethu Bengaluru

BANGLORE: 92.7 Big FM Bangalore announced the commencement of the second season of �Bendethu Bengaluru' (Speak out Bangalore), a month-long interactive initiative that will allow the common man's participation in solving problems that plague society in general – these include issues like water shortage, auto rickshaw hassles and rise in fares, tree-cutting, road digging due to the metro, corruption, the film industry, etcetera.

The Karnataka Lok Ayukta Chief Santosh Hegde launched the campaign literally with a hammershot, by striking a gong and signing a board.

Bendethu Bengaluru will be promoted through an innovative 360 degree campaign that will amplify all the ATL and BTL activities by ensuring it is marketed through multiple touch points. Prajavani is the print partner and Suvarna News 24x7, the television partner.

Big FM says it has come out with the second season of the show in response to popular public demand. 92.7 Big FM Radio Operations Head – South Ramesh Bhaskar says, In Season 2, we not only discuss various issues connected with the passions of the Bangalorean, but also debate and involve the Who's Who of the city including celebrities, authorities and leaders across the spectrum to help resolve them....

An on-ground activity will be held at strategic places to attract people and get them to participate in issues of concern. The campaign will also be promoted through ballot boxes at malls, apartments etcetera, along with RJs hosting shows from these locations. Celebrities and authorities will also debate on various issues pertaining to the �City of Gardens' at key vantage locations.

Apart from on-ground activities, the campaign will also be promoted online by asking listeners to vote on the website as well as chat with RJ's live during the show  The RJ's will also update the graffiti walls on the website and encourage listeners for push SMSes. The unique campaign will be uploaded on youtube.com.
