MUMBAI: Recognizing and awarding regional talent across various fields, Big FM has announced the second edition of its ‘Big Regional Entertainment Awards’ across seven regions including Central India, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The property honours regional entertainers who have contributed and brought to the forefront, the rich cultural heritage and diversity in India. The event will recognize talent across 18 categories like films, music, dance, theatre, sports, television and more. The winners will be selected on the basis of votes received from Big FM listeners in the particular region. The on-ground events are scheduled to be held between December 2012 and January 2013 across all regions.

The awards will be promoted through a 360 degree marketing campaign across multiple platforms including on-ground activations, OOH, print, television, radio and digital.
