BANGALORE: Asianet has announced auditions for its music reality show Asianet Idea Star Singer season 6, and the channel has called entries from participants aged between 16 and 25 years.

Season 6 will be on air in September end or first week of October, which is just a day after the grand finale of the current season 5, reveals a source at Asianet. Like the previous seasons, Asianet Idea Star Singer Season 6 is also sponsored by Idea Cellular Limited

The jury members for season 6 have yet not been finalized. The producer of season 5 is G Padmakumar and the Jury members include music director Sarath and playback singers KS Chitra and G Sreekumar 

For season 5, the first prize is a villa worth Rs 10 million from Travancore Builders, other prizes have yet to be confirmed, said a source at Asianet.
