Singing sensation 'Baba Sehgal' raps and foot taps on Hello FM

MUMBAI: The King of Rap, Baba Sehgal visited Hello FM, the largest radio network in Tamilnadu last Saturday (26th July) and entertained Chennai by going on air in Hello FM's game show 'Bigilu'. The show was hosted by RJ's Suresh and Kaushi and the singer wore his heart on his sleeve and shared his life experiences, musical journey, and the secret behind his hair style, name, and projects.

Commenting on Baba Sehgal's visit to Hello FM, Mr. Suresh - Programming Head and RJ, Hello FM said that "Hello FM has always endeavoured to entertain its listeners and offer wholesome entertainment cutting across barriers in language, region, etc. In the past, we have interviewed well-know national celebrities like Mandira Bedi, Vivek Oberoi, Nikil Chinnappa, Rakesh Roshan as well as former Miss Universe - 2006, Zuleka Rivera of Puerto Rico and we were happy to interview our country's first rap star - Baba Sehgal, who brought in lots of cheer and energy."

Baba Sehgal shared with the listeners of Hello FM his passion and respect for Kollywood, our very own Superstar Rajnikanth, and South Indian Music. He had great admiration for the Chennaiites, whom he said are very warm and humble. Also, he was amazed by the in-depth knowledge that most South Indians had, when it came to music and shared with the listeners of Hello FM that he was in Chennai exploring a show here, the home of December Music Festival. Apart from sharing good vibes on air, he also belted out a few of his popular numbers with lots of verve and energy.

When teasingly the RJ's nudged about his rendition for the Hindi song 'Rukumani, Rukumani'in the film 'Roja' for our very own AR Rehman , he said that he was searching for that girl Rukumani and wondered if she would have been married (as the line goes¦shaadi ke baad kya kya hua?). On a lighter note, he also divulged that Chennai was very special to him as he had met a girl whom he liked very much and if destined things could have been different but unfortunately he never happened to meet her again.

Commenting on his visit to Hello FM, Baba Sehgal said that he had lots of fun as he interacted with diverse people and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience.
