Radio Misty and police organises police Friendship Cup

MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 fm, The First and Number One fm station of North Bengal and Sikkim joined hands with Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar police for Police Friendship cup in these two districts on North Bengal. A total number of 494 clubs are taking in this mega event. The three-tier tournament began with the Thana level followed by the district level and then the finals. This Mega event has drawn large crowds to cheer the participating teams.

The winner team will be given a cash award. Beside several unique mementos like a ball signed personally by football legend maradona, baichung bhutia will be given to winning teams. At Finals Of coochbehar district satsanga club of baxirhat emerged champions defeating barokoimari gram panchayat of sitalkuchi by 2-1 goals after a tie breaker. Former footballer Pk Banerjee and cricketer shibshanker Paul with senior police officials were present of the occasion. Final of Jalpaiguri district will be held next week.
