MUMBAI: The Kingfisher Pub Rock festival, a festival of bands playing blues, jazz and rock at pubs and bars was initiated by Rock Street Journal 5 years ago. This year, Rock Street Journal, Kingfisher & Romanov Red, brings Delhi's acclaimed rock band HALF STEP DOWN... to Chennai and to the Bike & Barrel, on Sunday, 9th August 2009.

Half Step Down... will be playing at Bike & Barrel on Sunday 9th August from 9.00pm onwards. The curtain raiser will be a rock performance by Public Issue... Chennai's favorite rock band. The evening begins at 8.00 pm and all guests shall enjoy one complimentary select beverage. There is no cover or entry charge.

HALF STEP DOWN... was formed in 2005 and is essentially a rock �n' roll band, though they do incorporate elements of blues, alt- rock, funk and reggae. The group is influenced and inspired by bands ranging from Led Zeppelin RHCP, Dave Mathews, Marley and Django Reinhart.
