Hariharan's 'Padharo Mare Desh' at Games Village

MUMBAI: The fusion of Indian music and jazz amid synchronised beats of drums by Hariharan, Sivamani and Louis Banks cast a magical spell on athletes and foreign delegates at Commonwealth Games Village here on 12 October, reports PTI.

The trio gave a scintillating performance at a jam-packed amphitheater here.

The performance, which began by 'Padharo Mare Desh' (visit my country), filled with the eastern and western musical instrument beats, enthralled the people.

Later, Hariharan, a known Indian playback singer, dressed in black colour Indian traditional outfit and a maroon long jacket, sung scores of other songs composed by him including ?Tu Hi Re?.

Giving him company was, Shivamani, who had donned white overalls and his distinguished white-colour scarf, made people dance to his drum beats.

Grammy Award nominated, Louis Banks gave a rhythmic jazz performance to the audience.
